Lot's of fun at Daelin's party!

Daelin's family birthday party was once again snowed out, last year we had a big snowstorm and no one was able to come. This year, once again we had a big storm so we decided to postpone it. So on January 25 we all got together at mormor & buddy's for a birthday party. I decided to let Dairy Queen make this cake, it was delicious!

Kaeleb spent some time hanging out with Uncle Christian and learned a bit about flexing his muscles...

Daelin got a really cool birthday present from Moster Elisa, Uncle Terry, Tiffany & Tyler. Its a dinosaur fossil that you have to dig up! As soon as they got home the boys started their work uncovering the fossil of a dinosaur!

Daelin's 8th birthday - boy does time fly!

Daelin once again chose dinner at Moose Winooski's to celebrate his birthday. We were joined by mormor & buddy and Maureen
It was a fun night, Kaeleb and his "cars" collection...

and a couple of christmas presents that mormor found up in her closet.

Of course, part of the fun of Moose Winooski's is wearing the moose antlers! We all took a turn, Daelin also got to spin the birthday wheel. He was really hoping to get "pie in the face" since I told him if he did they could throw it at me, but once again, he didn't get it. I know one year he will, or should I say I will...

I promised the boys that this year I would get them on skates and try to teach them how to stay up on skates! Thankfully our friend Joanne who lives up the road from us offered their pond (and her son Brayden to help). The boys did great on their first try at skating, they even played a bit of hockey! They both really enjoyed it and can't wait to get back at it again!

We had a fantastic time at the Post Christmas Party hosted by the Beer Family! The boys got their long awaited snomobile rides. Even Richard and I went for a spin, unfortunately no pictures were taken...

Christmas morning...

Daelin had been waiting for a Nintendo DS for a very long time!

Kaeleb's big wish this year was for a radio controlled dirtbike.

Now we just have to wait for the snow to melt so we can turn it loose in a nice big parking lot!!!
