Christian took part in the "Iovate Classic 2006" which is put on by his company every year (now THAT'S a day a the office I could handle!) I am very proud to say that he took 2nd place! My parents enjoyed watcing the big win! The guy who beat him has been doing this for 10 years and is undefeated! So I think he did great and should be very proud!
Here is Tyler's Team at the 2nd Annual NAAR (National Alliance for Autism Research) & Autism Speaks Walk for Autism Research. As a team we raised $1652.00! The tally for the event was at $350,000 with more coming in! I'd say it was a success. Elisa is already planning for next year!
Everyone got in the spirit!
Here is Tyler's Team! It was windy and cool but good for walking.

It was a pretty fun day but it was a bit windy. Whenever the wind whipped up, Daelin would protect Kaeleb as Kaeleb really didn't like getting the wind in his face. Otherwise they enjoyed the wagon ride and had a great time!
Kaeleb was asleep very soon after we buckled him in his carseat!
Daelin took part in the "Midhurst Mile". A fundraising event for his school. They are raising money to build a track in their school yard. There was a challenge put on by one of the teachers so it became a race as well. Daelin was convinced that he would run the whole thing! Above he is warming up and below he is off!
Daelin did run the whole mile! He told me he stopped a couple times (down to a walk) just for a quick rest and then he started running again. Needless to say, Kaeleb and I DID NOT run the whole thing! It was a fun day and lot's of money was raised for their track!
We had our first trip to Springwater Park earlier this year. We enjoyed some duck watching (above) and of course time in the playground!
So any of you remember the pictures of us with the fawn last year? Well here he/she is a little more grown up, just like my kids!
This is Daelin & Kaeleb's buddy Furley. In fact, they call the park Furley's Park and she is always our first stop. She came to the park as a small cup after her mother was hit and killed by a car. She is approximately 11 years old. On this visit I was able to touch her nose!
One of our other favourite stops are the deer, they are always so pretty and peaceful to watch.
It is breeding season right now for the turkeys, so this tom is always putting on a great show. He is quite amazing. He was displaying for us and everything. Very impressive!
