We celebrated Buddy's birthday as well as Thanksgiving
Here are the two newlyweds enjoying a nice romantic turkey dinner for two!

It was time for our delicious Thanksgiving Dinner again
(thanks Mormor & Buddy).
I always call this our dry run for xmas! What a way to practice!

It was a really nice warm day so we took advantage

and spent some of it out on the deck.

Kaeleb had a little accident, he slipped off the couch

and hit his head on the coffee table. He had a nasty bruise and swelled quite badly, I used Arnicalm (which no parent should be without) I also gave him some Rescue Remedy (which calmed him down in seconds) and by the next morning it was barely visible!

I've started up a new home business with Usborne Books.
These books are absolutely beautiful, the quality is just amazing!
The boys enjoy looking through the catalogue and picking out the books they want, so if anyone is interested in trying to get a catalogue order, or even better have a home party let me know!

I was working away one day when I realized that Kaeleb was awful quiet.
I went down to the TV room to see what he was up to. This is what I found!
He must have been tired, he crawled up on the bin he was using for a table...
If you look closely in the second picture you can see his lunch underneath him.

We all got together to celebrate Mormor's birthday!

Daelin and his buddy Uncle Christian!

The kids had some yummy cupcakes!
Even Tyler enjoyed one!

We had a great time (as usual) at Brown's Pumpkin Farm in Dalston.
Even Dad got into the spirit in the Boo Barn!
Too funny!

We took a tractor ride out to the field to pick out our pumpkin.

This was the highlight of Kaeleb's afternoonThere were so many to choose from!

We managed to find two very large pumpkins!

This year, Richard and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary.
Richard is not an easy person to buy for, yet I wanted to give him something special. So, I worked on having my wedding dress made into a bellydance costume. It's not completed yet, but the top that I'm wearing here is the one from my dress. Then I had professional photos taken and gave him a framed 8X10. I've also worked on a solo for him. He loved it!

My friend Laina joined me for the photo shoot. We had a great time!

This was Richard's gift to me! A Redfoot Tortoise that we named Franklin.
He's very cute and we are really enjoying him!

Franklin was able to get outside a couple of times before it got too cold.
I'm sure he'll enjoy our nice hot summer next year!

Daelin joined Beavers this year and he's loving it!
He participated in his first Apple Day and was top salesman!

We had a great day a the zoo. They have built a new "kidszone" and the boys loved it! There was a huge man made tree with treehouse, the picture above is a prarie dog town. They could pretend to be prarie dog and go through all the tunnels. Then they could pop their heads up above the surface and there were real prarie dogs right outside! They had clear domes in the pop up areas. Lot's of fun! We can't wait to go back next year!

Daelin especially enjoyed the dino dig and crawling into the shell of a turtle!

I just love the pic I got above of a turtle,
believe it or not I took it through the glass!

Daelin & Kaeleb were talking to a rattlesnake!
The polar bears were lounging in the cooler weather
One of the newest additions to the zoo this year, a 3 week old giraffe!

We thought it was finally time to get the boys bunkbeds!

The boys love their new beds,
especially when we turn the bottom bunk into a fort!

We celebrated Farmor's birthday a little late this year, but better late than never! We had a very delicious lunch at the Mandarin

There were lot's of good eats and good times...

and even more good eats back at Mormor & Buddy's!

Here is Daelin on his first day of Senior Kindergarten!
