KAELEB'S FIRST HAIRCUT!!!
He did great! He stood still for the whole thing and looks very handsome!
He got over his jitters with a sucker while big brother got his hair cut.
Then he jumped up on the chair and away we went. He felt very proud and knew that this was a big moment. Then he and brother shared a chair and a treat looking like very dapper dudes!

We celebrated my mom's birthday on Sept. 25. We all had a great time, especially the kids! Daelin is really enjoying having some younger ones around to play with. Even my dad got an early present!

These pictures were just too cute not to share.
Yes the last picture is Kaeleb, looking out a dog door :-)

Here are the cousins playing. Uncle Elmo Hat (also known as Uncle Mike, don't ask it's a long story) decided to join in!

This is Kaeleb's first meal at the table out of his highchair (we can't wait to get rid of that thing!). He hasn't graduated full time to the table yet but he does enjoy the odd meal. I guess we'll break him in slowly. In the last picture he's saying "All Done".

Two years ago we were given a moose hide from the people we get our meat from. The hunters that shot it didn't want it and rather than see it go to waste we took it and had it finished. We just got it back and it's very beautiful. This picture shows it's size. Richard is trying to sell it if anyone is interested :-) It's very high quality, could be used as a wall hanging or rug.

I decided to post these two just because I liked them!

We couldn't let Richard totally off the hook for his 40th birthday so we did have a very small get together. Daelin made & decorated a cake and my parents came up and helped us eat it.

Goodbye Wasaga Beach. I thought these pictures were an appropriate goodbye to our beach season. We had a great one and I miss it already! Can't wait for next year...

Richard decided this year that he didn't want the annual Birthday Party. So we took a little family outing to Springwater Park instead. The boys had been wanting to show Richard the park and all their friends and this was a perfect opportunity. We had a great time and we even snuck in some presents and cupcakes!

One of the highlights of this visit was a suprise at the deer enclosure, there was a baby fawn. The kids really enjoyed watching and petting the baby, what a beautiful little creature.

The boys really enjoyed showing their dad around Springwater Park. He finally got to see the park and all our friends!

Ok, here it is! Richard's new metallic red Mazda3! Now, do you think that the fact that RICHARD ordering a metallic red sporty car has anything to do with the fact that he just turned 40? He and my dad have also come up with a funny way to remember his new licence plate:
AWNH*700 - Amanda Wilson's Not Home (she's out spending $700)!

This picture was taken on September 7th for the JK meet the teacher afternoon tea. Daelin's actual first day was on September 9, 2005

Here he is, ready for the bus (finally) it was a very long wait for him! He boarded the bus and didnt' even look back ;-)

This is Daelin and his new JK teacher Ms. McCormack.

Here are the whippies enjoying a few rays...

Here are the borzoi, loving the cooler weather. Neriol celebrated his 6th birthday this past weekend. Tundra is doing well and we are really hoping to share another christmas with him this year.
Here is Gandalf! He has enjoyed a beautiful summer and will miss hunting this winter. Then again, he'll be doing his hunting indoors on rodent control!

We are really enjoying the beautiful weather we've been having. I can really see how big Kaeleb is getting when I see him playing with the yard toys! He loves Daelin's trike (which he'll inheirit next year) and the front end loader!

We went on our annual SD&G camping trip from August 23 - 30 and we had a GREAT time! Our beautiful new tent leaked like a sieve, it's already been taken back to Costco! Even though we got wet one night it didn't dampen our holiday one bit. We wouldn't let it. We're already planning for next years trip! Enjoy the pics...

WE, being self professed beach bums, had one major mandate for this vacation - SPEND AS MUCH TIME AT THE BEACH AS POSSIBLE! I think we were very successful! We are even hoping to squeeze one more wasaga beach trip in tomorrow before it gets too cold, wish us luck!
