There was lot's of excitement when we pulled out all the Christmas Decorations this year (notice how EXCITED Val & Falkor are??)

I had lot's of help this year! Even Gandalf got in on the spirit!

Richard gets the job of hanging the lights!

Each year I buy the boys a keepsake oranment from hallmark for their own trees one day. I always let them pick the ones they want from the catalogue. This year Kaeleb chose a Harley Davidson Motorcycle!
Daelin chose a light-up Batman! How Festive :-) This is a portion of my ornament collection! Our dining room table was covered as well!
The boys admiring the tree.

Here are the boys with our neighbour Sara

and finally I get into a picture!Daelin is standing beside a wreath that they made in Beavers. Each Beaver made one of the red poppies which they attached to a wreath. It was presented at the Rememberance Day services in Barrie.

Of course the highlight of the evening was the visit with Santa! Kaeleb showed him his ducky and then they had a little talk. When Kaeleb came back to me he had a very disgusted look on his face. He said "that's not the real Santa!" so I asked him why? he said "I didn't get to ask for my Police Man Motorcycle!". Because there were literally hundreds of kids in line (we were very lucky to be in the first 20 in line) Santa's visits were fairly quick and he didn't take the time to find out what their wishes were. So to Kaeleb, he wasn't real because he didn't ask him what he wanted, he didn't sit on his knee and he didn't get his picture! Too funny!
Although Daelin is very hard to see becuase he's in dark clothes he is there talking to Santa. He enjoyed his visit and didn't leave as confused as Kaeleb!

This was so cute I just had to add it.

Here are Daelin and his friend Andrew receiving their official Beaver status! Don't they look proud!

Here is 1st Midhurst official newest Beaver!

This is Daelin lighting the candle that symbolizes joining Beavers.
Overall the evening was really fun. Kaeleb enjoyed a visit with his friend Jill.

I had a really nice visit with my friend Whitney while she visited from the sunny and warm Tortola! I've already told Richard that I want a plane ticket to visit Whitney for my 40th birthday so we'll see what happens!
