We recently helped Maureen celebrate her birthday with presents, cake and an afternoon of fishing at her mom & Norm's place!

Here they are getting their rods all ready...
patiently waiting for that first nibble...
Maureen's big catch of the day!
Kaeleb and his "pets" (he makes pets out of the rubber bait! He had a maggot named cutie!) too funny....

Here is Kaeleb bringing in the first fish of the day!

We recently enjoyed a trip to Springwater Park with Elisa, Tiffany & Tyler

We all had a great time.

We have found a lovely little spot at Wasaga, complete with a stream for the boys to play in.
Daelin and his new goggles
and his boogie board!

Here is Daelin at Wasaga. He's working on building up his muscles "just like Uncle Christian"
The boys found all these treasures and dragged them over from the stream to help them make their castle.
Here is the finished project.

On June 20 we had the pleasure of attending my cousin Bjerne's daughter's wedding. We all had a fantastic time, it was a beautiful wedding. Congratulations Sara and Ian!
I tried very hard to get a nice family photo but the boys were having way too much fun!
Here is Richard enjoying himself at the beginning of the evening...
Here he is after a few drinks of Tropicana Orange Juice.
Thank God he stayed away from the heavy stuff :-)

Kaeleb has the touch already! I think we're in trouble...

Kaeleb & Moster Deborah...
Daelin and Mor (his Great-Grandmother)

Daelin was thrilled when he got to dance with the bride.
(he's always loved Sara)

Here are the boys dancing up a storm!
Here they are at the end of the night. Daelin ended up with a second wind and I had to drag him off the dancefloor at midnight to go home!

Sara's dogs both walked down the aisle. I think they look absolutely dashing!
The bride, of course, was extremely beautiful!
Oh yeah, Ian didn't look that bad either :-)

We've had so many wonderful Wasaga Days this year I've lost count. Sure makes up for the past couple years. Even Richard has made it out twice this year! Here are some pics from a few of our trips...
A thunder storm was brewing on the opposite side of the lake
Ah, the dog days of summer....

We had a wonderful visit to the Muskoka Wildlife Centre with our friend Zanais and her mom Deborah. Here they are touching a snake for the first time!
Daelin was thrilled when he got picked to be the brave volunteer to allow the black rat snake up on his neck!
When the woman doing the presentation realized that Kaeleb was really disappointed at not getting a turn, she let Kaeleb & Zanais hold the snake too! That snake was really beautiful and had a wonderful temperment.
Kaeleb and Zanais having fun
