Hillview Zoo

both the boys got to try and milk a cow. The guy in charge didn't think that they'd be strong enough to squeeze the milk out (especially Kaeleb) but to his suprise they both were able to get milk!
They made lot's of friends that day...

The kids were really happy to see each other again and, even though the beach was closed they still managed to have tons of fun! :-)

We found these critters eating our milkweed in the garden. The green one will become a monarch!
Check out the damage they cause to the leaves! Amazing!

We spent one of the last days of summer vacation at the Elmvale Zoo with Daelin's friend Rachel and her brother Jared. Kaeleb had never been there before and really enjoyed all the animals. We all had a great time and it was nice to see Rachel again.

The animal show is always a big hit,
these guys had grown quite a bit since June! There was also a new addition a Hiacynth Macaw!

The kids went for pony rides, Kaeleb chose the biggest one there!

Above is our friend/doula Wendy Topping. She was our doula for Daelin's birth and also for Kaeleb's birth (although she ended up catching him!). The Doula's held a picnic at Wasaga beach. Although the turnout was small we had a great time.

Daelin & Christopher waiting on that perfect wave...
The water was very rough and the wind was very cool, so unfortunately, we didn't spend too much time on the beach.

We couldn't have ordered more perfect weather for the 2006 Lepus BBQ!

Food at the Lepus Picnic is always sooo yummy, so when Roberta's says
"Lunch is ready" everyone comes running!

It was great seeing everyone, especially the new additions like Roberta's Porter all the way from Austria!
Valle & Jewel made friends with a beautiful Monarch
