It was time again for the annual Thomas Get Together for Gord's Birthday. Almost everyone was there (a couple grandkids were missing) and we had a great time. Even Chelsea (their dog) enjoyed some playtime with the kids. The rain held off so we could sit outside and we all got caught up and started planning our next gathering!

Here are some pictures of Sharon (Richard's sister) her son Keegan, Kaeleb and I. Keegan is almost 10 months old so when he and Kaeleb are a little older I'm sure that they'll have fun playing together!

Here are the cousins, well almost all of them. We were missing a couple. They really had a great time playing together, Kaeleb included!

Wasaga Beach! We had a lovely day there yesterday although it got off to a rough start. When we first set up at the beach it looked very omnious out there. The sky looked angry and we could hear thunder rumbling. The thought of having to pack up and go home was soooo depressing. Then it started to rain. It rained so hard at times that it almost felt like hail. We got wet but we figured that we came here to get wet anyways right? (Canadians are so desperate for summer we'll endure anything for a day at the beach!). We could see blue skies behind the black clouds so we decided to wait it out. We are so happy we did as it turned out to be a beautiful day. The water was warm but refreshing and we all had a great time. Kaeleb ended up crashing on my lap for about 2 hours. Daelin fell asleep on the way home and slept right through till morning! Can't wait for our next beach day!

Time for a rest and some supper. Everyone had a great time and we can't wait for the bbq at the end of the month!

Here is Aaron teaching the kids how to blow bubbles. Kaeleb caught on quite quickly but Daelin was too shy to try in front of anyone the first time. When I had him on his own he was quite proud of his bubble blowing abilities!

Kaeleb was a little unsure the first time I took him in the pool. He normally dives into things head first (pardon the pun) so I thought it would be the same with a pool but he was a little unsure. So I slowed things down and let him go at his own pace. Before long, not only was he in the pool but jumping off the side into my arms and (as you can see above) learning how to blow bubbles! His cousin Aaron is a great teacher!

We all had a cool down swim at Deb & Mikes on Tuesday July 12. It was a hot hot hot day and we were so thankful for the chance to swim swim swim.

As you can see we had a great time. Daelin pretty much took off where he left off last year. Tiffany has been taking swimming lessons so it was old hat for her. Kaeleb took a bit to warm up to the idea but once he did there was no stopping him as you will see from the other pics!

We are all ready for our camping trip this August. Our annual trip to the SD&G dog show with Auntie Birdie! It has become quite a trip now with lot's of members of the Lepus Group going too! (these are all people who have dogs from Roberta either her breeding or rescue). This year even Mormor is going to come! We had to buy a decent tent though! This one is a 5star model, complete with doggie doors! Those two compartments coming off the tent at the front are actually footwear storage with zippers on the front and inside. I told Daelin that they were doggie doors and he believed me! He and Kaeleb have each picked one and now they have their own private little tent in a tent, they fit perfectly inside them! I think we are going to have fun!

We had a thunderstorm come through here the other day. We all sat in the front doorway and watched it. Neat experience for the kids. After it was all over the sun shone and I took these (and a few others I haven't posted) pics. I'm thinking of framing a couple, nice memories of our garden! The kids enjoyed splashing in the big puddles afterwards too! The only downside was the amount of mosquitos that I had to endure taking these pictures! Enjoy!

DAELIN'S NEWEST PASSION!
Daelin has started yet another collection - Playmobil!
He really enjoys it and it's actually a really beautiful toy. He's collecting all the animal kits and he's hoping to get the zoo from Santa this year.
Today we spend some time incorporating his train and made an animal park. Visitors can enjoy a train ride around the park to view the animals and there is also a petting farm and a dinosaur fun park to enjoy! Pictures below this blog show the different enclosures! Enjoy!

Here are the petting farm, Lions, Pandas & Wildlife!

Here is the animal hospital, crocodile pond and dinosaur park!

I enjoyed a visit with my friend Whitney yesterday. She is a friend from TTC who was lucky enough to move to BVI about 9 years ago. We see each other once a year and yesterday was the day. We had a great lunch at Rainforest Cafe and a bit of shopping.

Here is a picture of me at my last performance in May. I'm doing a dance with Zyls. They are like little symbols that you wear on your fingers. The woman in front of me is a master zyl player, she is just amazing I was honoured to share a stage with her! Thanks to Diana Lewellen for the pic. Unfortunately I've had to take a break from dancing for a bit due to a hamstring injury that is being very stubborn. I really miss it and I can't wait to get back at it again hopefully soon.

The boys were enjoying the sunshine today!

Oreo felt left out so I thought I'd post one of her. This was taken in early spring. I will have to get one of her sunning in the garden.

Daelin enjoyed a cruise from Parry Sound with his grandparents and the Lewellen's when they were here in May. This is Daelin & Buddy.

The Lewellen family visited us from Florida in May. Daelin got along really well with Claire & Chase and he misses them terribly. He is always asking when he will see them again.

My blog would not be complete without including Gandalf! He likes to perch in the half door out of harms way to watch what is going on in the house.
